Treat the clutch with respect - do not allow excessive "slip" during engagement; it is an expensive item.

Drive in first gear for the first five minutes to warm gear oil and allow shifts to second gear without synchronizer sluggishness.

Maintain a battery charge with a motorcycle battery charger during long storage periods.

Do not try to start the vehicle with a low battery charge; damage to the Marelli Dinoplex ignition module may result: it is a very expensive item.

|
Do not "jump start" the vehicle; damage to the Marelli Dinoplex ignition module may result from the voltage surge; keep an excellent battery in the car at all times.

|
Watch for gear oil leaks at the half shaft seals; heat in the area of the inner U-joints at the transaxle causes seal decay; smoke from the exhaust pipes in the area will indicate oil spray.
|
|
7)
|
Problems with tire interference in the front wheel wells may be due to shock absorber failure.
|
|
8)
|
Maintain a strict schedule of cam belt replacement to avoid catastrophic engine damage.
|
|
9)
|
Keep the gas tank full during storage, as an air space will promote vapor buildup and water condensation.
|
|
10)
|
Do NOT use the automatic choke to start the engine !!!
